@BlackAzizAnansi I can't speak for anyone else but I know the GOP pushed me to the left. I was born into a '70s era "fiscally conservative, socially liberal" household that voted Republican until GW. I was fairly middle of the road in my teens and early adulthood but began moving further and further left the more I learned about how the world works. So now I have a kid of my own and they're being raised very left-leaning which I'd say could quite easily be seen as happening because of the GOP.
