I was just parallel-chatting on Reddit when I wrote this text. I am really not a religious person and the main reason for that is that one day I figured out that most religious people are just assholes who have never thought about their religion and who never understood what it stands for.

Anyway, here is the text:

When we talk about Christian faith, we need to talk about the fact that (a) Jesus was not white man with blonde hair and blue eyes; (b) he was a jewish, dark-skinned, black-haired, brown-eyed dude; (c) that he talked about the love for every human being and (d) he said (I'm paraphrasing): "Our elders said eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth, but I tell you thou shall love thy neighbor".

If you want to build a religion on what Jesus said, please make sure you understand what his message was: love, forgiveness, acceptance, tolerance - for everybody.

Many religions are based on love, acceptance, tolerance and forgiveness. For example in Islam, Allah wants all of his humans to go the heaven (paradise). To enter heaven you have to cross a very thin (hair-thin) bridge. You can cross it if you were a good human in your life. If you fall from the bridge, you'll fall into hell.

The bridge is really thin - as said: like a hair. But what helps you, carries you over the bridge are your good deeds - i.e. a single good deed will carry you over. There is this story of a really horrible man having only sinned in his life, never done anything that wasn't a sin. But one day, there was a starving cat and, for whatever reason that man felt the need to give that cat his bread and fed the cat. This was his only good deed in his life.

Anyway, when he died and came to that bridge, the cat was waiting for him to carry him over the bridge to heaven.

"Allah is kind" means that he really wants his creation to enter paradise and the only thing he asks for is that you at least have done one single good deed in your life. If this is not a message of love, I don't know what is.

But talk to all those assholes who "talk in the name of God" (Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, ...) and none of them really know what faith is for. They just care about power and how to use the worst of human's emotions to gain and keep that power.

(And no, I am not religious at all, I couldn't care less about any religion; I am not even atheist, I am agnostic, but I read the originals - or as original as I can)

Trump saw presidency as a cash cow. He thought these docs had $ value.

A tale of 2 Republicans:

GW Bush: 0 bankruptcies, 0 divorces, 0 impeachments, 0 indictments, 0 felony counts

Trump: 6 bankruptcies, 2 divorces, 2 impeachments, 2 indictments, 71 felony counts

Trump isn't being prosecuted because he's a Republican. It's because he's a criminal.

BOTH Dubya and Trump were adamantly opposed by Democrats.

BOTH were investigated thoroughly by journalists.

But only one was and is a pathological liar, cheater, and now multiply-indicted suspected felon.

It's not a witch hunt. It's called LAW ENFORCEMENT.

It's sickening to hear people bloviating about the Trump indictment being political. Trump is not the President, he illegally took and retained classified information and engaged in obstruction. His candidacy is all about trying to avoid consequences.

Anyone who threatens violence next Tuesday should be locked up immediately and charged with sedition.
