@NPR America capitulated the moment the #CDC became a press office for every major corporation who, in doing the math, realized that protecting the #disabled and #elderly was not as good for their bottom line as straight up killing those who need the most protection.

So yes, NPR, masks are a good thing because the protect and remind the pestilence did not go away and that people are still #dying of #Covid to protect a shareholder's bottom line.

Reddit's CEO is now comparing the people who've done the most to make the site popular to "landed gentry" -- demonstrating that he's both over-the-top arrogant and ignorant.

He's also threatening to change the rules of the site to make it easier to remove moderators. Yes, that'll definitely encourage more people to build communities there.

Just to be clear, there have been hundreds of anti-trans bills introduced in GOP led states, and 80 or so actually passed, banning gender affirming care for kids under the age of 18 and who knows what other nonsense like banning drag shows and books about gender and LGBTQ+ issues.

So the party of individual right is stripping rights all over. Got it.
The party of "protecting children" is harming children. Got it.

The party of individual rights is stripping away the rights of parents to care for their kids as they see fit. Got it.

They are laser focused on a very small percent of the U.S. population. All the while the majority of kids in the US don't feel safe in school and are being groomed to "run, hide. fight" if a shooter shows up.
