I have often wondered why Putin's attack on #Ukraine angers me so deeply.

Walking on the beaches of Lillebælt, I realized it is because of this:

I always tried wondered how nazi Germany and ISIS happened. Not anymore. It was because fanatics like these who will do and believe anything from their fascist leader.

One of the many things that bothers me about white supremacists is their revisionist history of the Civil War. "Ol Bobby Lee" was a gentleman and wasn't "that bad" on slavery. Well, 160 years TODAY the retreating Confederate Army kidnapped over 1000 Black people in PA and MD and took them to Virginia for enslavement. Few know about this, but it was a war crime on top of the tragedy of Gettysburg.

The people "on the left" excited by Kennedy running, are the same people "on the left" who have complicated opinions about why Putin was right to invade, and the same people "on the left" who thought we should hear QAnon out about vaccines, and the same people "on the left" who thought we should "work with" *checks notes* fascist militia Boogaloo Bois to, something something.

Maybe they just aren't "people on the left" at all. And it's the exact same people, every time; curious that.
