@yogthos I actually feel well represented by my Senator and Representative, and my President. But the power of the superwealthy is a constant struggle for the rest of us.

@jerry I love how in the thumbnails in Mona, it looks like the lightning from the top left is going straight into the bottom right!

You can ask me to act normal or act natural but please understand these are two entirely different things

@JohnShirley2023 oh so USSR just magically stopped being totalitarian one day, gotcha. As somebody who actually lived there, I disagree.

“Musk’s acquisition of Twitter is now, for all intents and purposes, a multilevel marketing scheme.” https://newrepublic.com/post/174348/elon-musk-turns-twitter-mlm-scheme-far-right

I am slightly confused how we’ve gone from US Congress and other governments constantly calling Facebook and Instagram bosses into public hearings to berate them about contention moderation and extremism..

to Elon Musk directly paying and promoting alt right people on Twitter.. and no government is interested.

The Gulag was supposed to belong to the past. Now it belongs to the present. If Ukrainians don’t want it to be part of their future, they will have to physically remove these camps—and the people who run them—from Ukrainian land. Until they have succeeded, no help will ever be enough.

@alienghic @samhainnight @alexwild @kevincollier I bet we could $100k in an afternoon for this.

@kevincollier Wow, funny how debt wasn't an issue for Brett Kavanaugh.

This is truly jaw-dropping. Absolutely no one's doubting her credentials. A young Black woman already doing the job of acting National Cyber Director can't get formally Senate confirmed in that role because she has debt?
