Family Beach Vacation: God’s Thumb

Spent the morning hiking most of the trails in the God’s Thumb, The Knoll, and Westwind Wildlife Sanctuary* areas. I had to hang around the God’s Thumb area and wait for the fog and clouds to burn off so Cascade Head will be tomorrow morning.

The Oregon coast is a special place. Photos are of God’s Thumb.

ok I was just doing errands on my bike and ended up behind this truck with a stuffed mastodon mounted on top. obviously I chased the driver down to ask for a pic. turns out she’d just found it on the side of the road and liked the way it looked strapped to her truck

We had a clap of thunder that sounded like the Gods had finally had enough of Ron DeSantis. Unfortunately, it knocked the power out in half a Fort Lauderdale. Because we haven't had enough bullshit lately. FPL says the power might be back on by 8:15.
