We live in a country where health insurance corps make billions exploiting the sick with unaffordable medicine, spike their insurance premiums, & deny their claims—& then use those ill gotten gains to fund politicians they know won't hold them accountable.

It's no wonder that out of all developed nations globally, the USA spends double per capita on healthcare—yet has lower life expectancy, higher maternal mortality, & higher infant mortality.

We need guaranteed universal healthcare. Period.

I haven’t been posting a lot here or anywhere lately because I’m burnt out & genuinely don’t see what all this — [waves at social media in general] — is providing my life right now except more reason to worry or be angry.

I wish I didn’t feel that way about social media in general but we live in a toxic era, & much discourse about that is itself toxic & negative.
