The grocery chains got a little iffy about all that somewhat negative media coverage, some of which was spurred by my continued analyses.

They started to put out these things in the store. It basically says "We've already lowered the prices of 450 products for you this year". With a sortiment of 22000.

They were also dumb enough to put out a machine readable PDF with all the products they lowered the price for.

With a little data science magic, I was able to match those with my database...

As of now, transgender Kansans are no longer able to get a new birth certificate aligning with their gender identity.

But let's say you already changed yours and just you need a certified copy?

The state will only provide one that matches the sex assigned at birth.

"The Kansas Department of Health and Environment made the announcement via a post to its frequently asked questions webpage on vital statistics.

"In accordance with Senate Bill (SB) 180, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) can no longer process gender identity amendments to birth certificates," the agency said.

"If KDHE previously changed your birth certificate to align with your gender identity, that birth certificate is still valid; however, if a certified copy of that record is requested, then the new copy must reflect the sex assigned at birth, in accordance with SB 180."

I ordered another camera from Ebay, another Canon 90D. It was listed as new for an excellent price. I warned myself that if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. But I decided to take the chance. Ebay advertises some sort of money back guarantee. Anyway, the asking price was probably more than selling it to a dealer. Time will tell whether it is a good deal.

I have two large lenses and I sometimes switch between them depending on the subject and distance, so I want to have both mounted and ready. I already have a Canon t3i, but after working with the 90D, the t3i just doesn't cut it for wildlife shots.

Auto workers are demanding a 40% raise to match the 40% pay increase CEOs of the Detroit automakers got over the past 4 years.

CEOs are calling this absurd, but they couldn't be more wrong.

THIS IS A COMPROMISE. Why? Because worker's real wages have fallen 30% over the past 20 years. They're foregoing 16 years of wage theft for 4 of equity, and consistent equity going forward. That's basic justice.

Pay workers. Unionize workers. Tax billionaires. Save our economy.

If voting did not matter there would not be voter suppression laws or gerrymandering or anti voting propaganda. The fact that we have all three of these things makes it quite clear that voting matters. VOTE LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!!!

When I say capitalism is what corporations will defend until they die, I'm not joking:

I hope this passes and sets a strong precedent for other states.
