I was tired and frustrated at the things I struggle to do yesterday…mostly having spoken conversations.

Today, I found myself exasperated at the things my kids are struggling to learn to do…shoelaces and telling the time.

Bedtime came and instead of dwelling on what we couldn’t do, I said ‘have you got a party piece?’

My daughter told some jokes and made us laugh, while my son did something he hadn’t done since he was a toddler…recite the alphabet backwards.

And we smiled and hugged.

I want to thank everyone, truly, for trying to figure out ways to save my dad's photos.
