Majorities in both houses of Congress want to pass aid to Ukraine, but the extremist minority is supporting Putin.

Permitting Putin to win in Ukraine would create a world in which the standing of the U.S. in the world would diminish, Iran and North Korea would be strengthened, China would dominate the Indo-Pacific, the Middle East would be more unstable, and nuclear weapons would proliferate.

The far right is playing a very long game:

They know their world view is unpopular. So they seize levers of govt—like gerrymandered statehouses—to pass laws that have little support.

Then they count on enough time passing that a new reality settles in as the new normal.

😜 I'm feeling the jabs in each arm. Not badly, but I notice it.

A little woo woo in the head, kinda a "passenger in my own body" effect, with inputs subtly lagging. 😜 I think this may be exacerbated by my bonging.

Cool, my insurance apparently 'forgot' they already approved me for this medicine even though I got it (two bottles, a weaning dose and a regular month's worth) a week ago and now they won't fill it

So glad we pay more than any other first world country for the privilege of this extra administration layer that serves only to increase cost and reduce care
