I was very lucky to get 50 years with my dad and I look back and cherish every part of it. My wife however only got 26 years with her mom. Such a huge difference in so many ways and that's a tough thing for me to understand how she deals with getting such a short time with a loved one.

All I can say to everyone here, hug your loved ones and tell them you love them. You don't know if you'll have that chance tomorrow.
