I've stopped caring about new tech and become more political because in general we have sufficient technology to make everyone's lives better.

The problem isn't that we don't have enough or good enough technology. The problem is that the people in power aren't interested in making everyone's lives better.

After leaving the dead bird site I was going to leave politics behind.

But 2024 is more important than ever to speak up about saving this country from becoming another Nazi Germany or Russia.

Trump thinks he should be able to assassinate political rivals with complete immunity. He's trying to normalize what was previously unthinkable. This is fascism. This is authoritarianism.

Adam Serwer made an interesting observation. I'm paraphrasing.

Under #Trump, the media kept repeating that the economy was good in order to show that they were not biased. They manufactured the "economy good" argument to prove they weren't anti Trump.

Under #Biden, when the economy is doing well and positive economic figures are published, it always comes with caveats. This time, the media want to prove they're not pro Biden.
