This isn't new & thats the biggest problem/ The @USDOL Whistleblower Protection Program spent decades working adversarially to it's mandate.

It's supposed to enforce whistleblower protections in 20+ federal statutes - instead, it harasses whistleblowers for big biz.

Did Tucker Carlson or Fox News execs promise Kevin McCarthy anything of value for granting exclusive access to Jan 6 footage? If they did that is a FELONY: 18 U.S. Code Section 201 - "Bribery of public officials and witnesses." Same goes if McCarthy asked for anything of value in return for granting access. There must be a criminal investigation!

The Republican party has its roots in union. In equality. In Lincoln. Those who sought to remind them of that history (Cheney, Kinzinger) got evicted from their party. And their new so-called leadership is cowering before the seditionists in their caucus.

This man. Oh this man. One of the most humane men in America. Humble, kind, honest and compassionate. I am not a person of faith but I have read his book called “Faith,” and if Christians in America acted like that it would be a very different country. Jimmy Carter is a human worthy of the name. To me Jimmy is everything America should be, should aspire to be and he should be the inspiration of every child no matter what color, religion, gender or sexuality.

As part of my pro-Mastodon campaign, I've been talking the platform up to scientific journals and scientific foundations, encouraging them to post here. One told me that entities cannot have accounts on Mastodon (only individuals) - but I do see some entities here. What's the status on that (and rationale behind it)?
