To confront “woke capitalism” board member and Leo deputy Jonathan Bunch described how a coalition works with legislators, journalists, media execs etc to launch investigations, hold hearings, publish stories, etc.

@luckytran I get so tired of it. We talk about it, make memes, even write books and make documentaries. But do we actually accomplish anything? We know Fox is sunsidized by our cable payments, but we don't want to miss our show. We know Walgreens stopped selling Plan B, but they are open 24 hours and right across the street. We know Home Depot and Hobby Lobby gave money to the Trump campain, but the "Live,Laugh,Love" sign would look great in the hallway.
It's as though we'd rather die than be inconvenienced. If we don't start getting motivated, the Nazis are going to win. And then everyone will be like "oh who could have seen that coming?"

Due to my recent reporting, the neo-Nazi gang Rise Above Movement just posted a graphic of me being lynched. It's customized from a graphic made out of the picture of my bloodied face from an attempt on my life by far-right extremists. They added a rope in the image... around my neck.

In our history textbooks, we learned that European settlers pushed westward, displacing Indigenous tribes until sadly they were no more. But this is wholly inaccurate.

The “Indians”—as Columbus infamously misnamed them—are still here in America. They number well over five million according to the 2020 census. And yet, as hard as it is to admit, a genocide of Indigenous people and cultures continues in this country even to this day, as Native children are removed from their families and tribes to live in primarily White, Christian homes.
