Found some old pictures of our pup. She was such a sweetheart. We still miss her, but are enjoying the completely empty nest for now.

"The fediverse isn't profitable"

Actually, the fediverse is a great place for artists and creators to find support for work they are passionate about and pour their soul into. It's just not profitable for multi-million dollar corporations that want to fill the pockets of already far too wealthy execs.

Judging from the pilings a fairly substantial vessel used to moor in this location. Located mext to Highway 70 at New Bern North Carolina the addition of for lanes and overpasses probably played a role in the abandonment of this location.

"While many people assumed that getting infected meant higher protection from future encounters with the virus ...[the truth is that ] each subsequent COVID infection will increase your risk of developing chronic health issues like diabetes, kidney disease, organ failure and even mental health problems. ... it is akin to playing Russian roulette.”

Seeing a lot of arguments that anything less than total backstopping of #SVB deposits will lead to a run on all small banks as people wake up and realize that half of bank deposits are uninsured. Gonna be an interesting night.

Capitalism, the ultimate reality show

THERAPIST: Why can’t you introduce your two groups of friends to each other?

ME: [told one group my name was the space cowboy and the other it was the gangster of love] I just can’t ok

Went to see #NapalmDeath 🤘 at the O2 Academy #Birmingham last night.

Support from Escuela Grind, Dropdead (didn't get photos of these two) and Siberian Meat Grinder. Can a band name get any more #metal than Siberian Meat Grinder!?

Anyway, great night. How Barney can do Napalm Death songs sat down (he broke his ankle a few weeks ago) is beyond me. Must have a strong set of pipes!

Apologies for the quality of the photos.

Sorry, James. Silicon Valley Bank went broke, not woke. The term now means anything Republicans don’t like or want to criticize. Like their party, it is without true meaning or value.

I'm puzzled by the many people I know who take great care with chemicals in food and cosmetics but when it comes to this virus...

‘Everyone on the left is a pedophile!’ - from the party that just voted to keep child marriage legal in West Virginia

Republicans want to stop Social Security

Sen. #JohnKennedy (R-LA)...on #FoxNews Sunday. "For people who are in their 20s, their life expectancy will probably be 85 to 90," he falsely said. "Does it really make sense to allow someone who's in their 20s today to retire at 62?" Life expectancies, though, are decreasing, not increasing. So, he's lying to the #American people to mess with the benefits we earned.
