The ebook and audiobook are available everywhere, but those of us in North America have to wait a few months for print versions. It's probably useful to remember that this is not the first time that Donald Trump has ignored what would be sound legal advice and mouthed off.

I can't analyze all this from a legal standpoint, but the only logic I can see here is if Trump believes he's getting a raw deal regardless of what he does, so then, why the hell not?

Grievance can work like that. And remember that many of his followers also suffer from an addiction to grievance:

And an awful lot points in that direction. I actually dredged up the DSM-5 entry on narcissistic personality disorder, which is way too long to quote here, but a significant piece of it is about a subject's belief that they are not getting something they deserve, which certainly sounds to me like it could be grievance.

I started working on this awhile back (before hospice was announced) and finally finished it. President Carter would be memorable to me no matter what but the fact his home of Plains #Georgia is just down the road makes him even more so.

In a little under 2 weeks I'll be making my first conference appearance since Covid, flying out to Denver to participate in a discussion about, among other things, executive power and executive privilege.

As an exciting first, Saoirse, Age 6, will be accompanying me, in both her first flight and first vacation that didn't involve seeing family or going to the beach. So we're staying 3 extra days and I'm soliciting ideas for fun things to do in the Denver area for a 6yo. Any suggestions?

Did a pretty decent job of staying off the phone and computer this weekend. Good to do.

Going to be a super busy week, so hoping for good sleep and to hit the ground running tomorrow. Rest well, friends.

Also looking for restaurant suggestions. Local places known for good food and good experiences. We're staying near Denver University 2 nights and near the airport 2 nights.
