Implementation science is one of the core things I do, but surprisingly few people know this important set of skills, interdisciplinary fields, and communities exist, working to translate evidence into action. At Google as a metrics and evaluation scientist, at Khan Academy as an efficacy scientist, and of course as the founder of an evidence science consultancy, all my applied research work has included implementation science.
