Florida Republicans set to prevent local governments from setting minimum wage requirements higher aka "living wage ordinaces" than the state which is currently $11.

Living wage ordinances can vary in what they impose or include, they're generally enacted to help retain and recruit workers to the local government sector by offering a base pay for their lowest-paid workers that keeps up with the cost of living.

Sunset on Gold Hill. True to its name, the top of the mountain turns gold in the right conditions.

We had about 2" of snow but it stayed warm, in the 40's. The snow stopped before sunset enough to see it trail up the mountain. As the sun faded to shadow, it cooled the land down quickly enough to create a cloud boundary that followed it up to the peak.
