Day 3 of the little one's illness. She's never been sick this long before, tests have been run. (Caught something at CHEO last week? Very possible.) I'm staying home tomorrow, partly because it's my turn to be with her, partly because I'm stretched so thin I feel like I could snap or break down at any moment. I’ll never understand it. Twitter is definitely not worth it. Any of it.

I chose to build a community here, rather than spend one more minute in a cesspool of yuck. I can’t imagine going back to Twitter just to swim in a cesspool that’s worse than when I left. But starting over requires the patience and confidence to explore and rebuild. Sometimes people simply lack the courage or imagination to embrace change.
