Tufted Titmouse (Baeolophus bicolor)

This tufted titmouse was around yesterday along with several others. Fortunately, this bird took a second to pose in this crepe myrtle tree.

Recon Squirrel

My dog Charlie and I were sitting the backyard one afternoon when I noticed the eastern gray squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis) crawl out on a pine tree limb that was in the forest to the east. I'm almost certain that the squirrel was spying on the backyard to see if it was a good moment to make a move.
