I had breakfast today with a person around 70 years old who still chooses not to have a cell phone, a computer, or even an email address. She has a landline and an answering machine. She has learned enough computer skills to do her part-time job, and the rest of the time, she sculpts, gardens, and cooks. She seems perfectly content.
I was going to be late to meet her, so I called the diner to leave a message for the host to give her, just as everyone used to in the not-so-distant past.

Today marks the 34th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square massacre. During my time living in China, I once asked my colleagues about this event, but they vehemently claimed to have no knowledge of it. This is a photograph of the aftermath, it's illegal in China.

Worse: his allies in all of this include Noam Chomsky, Dan Ellsberg, & a variety of foreign anti-US leaders, under "Democracy Now."

As a Jewish guy I feel the label of nazi is entirely deserved for people who advocate for the extermination of a group of people. Twitter is owned by such a guy. Participating in his business is akin to patronizing a nazi bar. This isn't hyperbole throwing around the label.
