Home sweet home 🌎 😍

Earth inspires us from every angle. NASA’s missions from ground to space help us discover more about our home planet, how it’s changing, and how we can prepare for the future. http://nasa.gov/Earth

We are forever grateful to the brave individuals who have put their lives on the line to protect Ukraine and Ukrainians, our freedom, and the dream of all people to live in freedom. Each chevron tells a story of courage, resilience, and sacrifice. They represent the blood and pain of those who have lost their lives, and those who have been saved against all odds. When we look at the chevrons of our soldiers, we see the symbols of our victory. Last month, on Marine Corps Day, we were honored to receive the flags, plaques, and chevrons of the 241st Training Center, 35th Rear Admiral Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi Separate Marine Brigade, 36th Rear Admiral Mykhailo Bilynskyi Separate Marine Brigade, 140th Separate Reconnaissance Battalion, the Naval Infantry Command of the Ukrainian Navy, the 37th Separate Marine Brigade, the 32nd Rocket Artillery Regiment, the 406th Separate Artillery Brigade named after Lieutenant General Oleksiy Almazov, and the 38th Separate Marine Brigade. We thank all of our defenders for their courage and commitment to keeping our land safe. Glory to all our heroes! 🇺🇦

Transphobes demanding I scientifically prove gender identity exists: fuck you.

You’re a meat bag walking around controlled by a ghost. Scientifically prove *you* exist. Show me on an fMRI where your love of chocolate is. Show me in your DNA why you’re attracted to people of the opposite gender. Show me in your blood tests why you’re such a hateful little asshole.

Show me the science that proves your consciousness exists.

I'm falling asleep. Jasper is too, Teddy peers out the window into Darkness. I'm out, #GoodNight

Happy #Caturday from Gizmo! #Cats #CatsOfMastodon

Scamp is mooching. My husband gives her treats during meals. (My advice: never do this even once. Once is enough to set a precedent.

This is her polite mooch mode, because she already had cat food. If she’s actually hungry she’s more demanding.

Witnessing a Kauai sunset is an experience that etches itself into memory, leaving an indelible mark of beauty and tranquility. It is a fleeting masterpiece, a reminder of the remarkable wonders that nature can paint across the sky, and a testament to the enchanting allure of this remarkable island paradise.

A vibrant red and orange sun, sizzling in the clouds as it sets over the Gulf of Mexico Coast. A pelican flies by seemingly enjoying the sun’s brilliance this spring evening.

Here is the best birthday pose he’s given me today. I followed him around everywhere for longer than I’ll admit. 😐

⚡️🇺🇦President Zelensky has addressed the Russians in Russian: "I will tell you in Russian. The man from the Kremlin is obviously very afraid and is probably hiding somewhere, not showing his face. I'm sure he's not in Moscow anymore. He is calling somewhere, asking for something... He knows what he is afraid of, because he himself created this threat. We are incredibly lucky and fortunate that we have the cool heads and professional skills of President Biden and his administration leading this nation in these dangerous times. With an insurrection and attempted coup apparently underway in Russia, there is no one better able to lead this country than President Biden and his team.
