They sign up, make a couple of posts like 'Hey, I'm here now!' and hours later, they're surprised they don't instantly have thousands of followers again. Then they say 'no, it doesn't work' and go back to their old social media. My minor character flaws sufficiently mask my fundamental character flaws, and TBH I don't see that as a bad thing. Hate me for something irrelevant and I generally respond with bemusement.

One of my favorite things in such times is to tell the troll that they're boring. I don't block, because that's how they think they win. I just ignore them, and their panic attacks are often quite amusing
