While this was not uncommon on #Twitter when I was active there, it’s relatively new for me in the #fediverse. I suspect this suggests professional news outlets are becoming more comfortable here & posts have increasing impact. Good.

The biggest problem in US politics is white voters.

The second biggest problem is Democrats' obsession with winning back white voters even though majorities repeatedly say they prefer being assholes.

The third problem is that while the GOP's pet issues aren't popular even with white conservative voters when polled about them specifically, those same voters will turn around and reliably vote for the GOP candidate in a general election anyway.

Because they're assholes.
