I've recently mentioned to a couple of people that my social media is now on #Mastodon and they never had heard of it, and since there isn't some huge corporate funded PR machine getting articles written up on this place, I think it's important to tell others about it IRL and how it's working for you when you get a chance to. It may take a few mentions, but eventually they may try it out.
