@Waitnwallflower I found myself downtown during the filming of Blues Brothers while in college - waiting to catch a Greyhound bus to visit my then girlfriend at Valparaiso. Dozens of faux police cars near city hall. It was glorious mayhem. Fascinating watching a movie being made.

unfortunately, a while ago, you could use a couple of different websites to track down people from Twitter over here, but musk pretty much killed all of that.

Just start following people and start following hashtags. Best way to find the folks you’d like to see in your timeline is to do a search by hashtag and when you see an interesting post, follow that person.

Dont worry about what instance you or they are one, it really doesn’t matter that much.

When we talk about Palestinian responsibility in Hamas attacks, it's important to note that not only are half too young to vote, but no one has had the chance to vote in 16 years.

The vast majority Gazans have never been enfranchised in their lives. They've never known a government that represented them.

It's like blaming Afghan women for the Taliban, and then bombing them to make the Taliban do something different. We're just piling more pain on oppressed people without helping anything.

The right wing of the Republican party tried to bring the US govt to a halt by refusing to raise the debt ceiling earlier this year.

Now they have brought the govt to a halt by removing the Speaker of the House and failing to replace him.

These anti-govt, libertarian, alt-right types have found a way to eliminate govt without having to risk messy things like insurrection, riots, or revolution.

Their end game is not a new fascist speaker. It is non-functional government.
