Kareen Abdul-Jabbar notes that House Speaker Mike Johnson has explicitly stated that he rejects the first amendment's stipulatiion that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…”

Instead, he stated in 2016, he wants a "biblical republic."

With him and men like him interpreting the bible for the rest of us….

And the GOP made him House Speaker knowing this.
