The job of journalism, given what is increasingly likely next year, is not to politely notice that a Trump dictatorship is in the works.

The job of journalism should be -- if journalists actually care about the end of democracy -- to become activists, not mere observers.

Activists working to save democracy, not least because journalism itself will be among the first institutions hauled to the chopping block if democracy dies.

Please, journalists: Care enough to take the risk.

Use a truth sandwich when reporting on lies.
