6 January 1932 | French Jewish girl Germaine Steinlauf was born in Nice.

On 10 February 1944 she was deported from Drancy to Auschwitz in a transport of 1,500 Jews. On 13 February 1944 she was murdered in a gas chamber.

I was quite amazed at how well Ginza did. There was one point while we were in the waiting room that she fell asleep in the carrier.

The vet who examined her said she was impressed at how calm she was, considering I had only been domesticating Ginza for a little over 5 months. The vet said she might get groggy because of the shots and so I plan to keep her inside while Ginza recovers from those effects.

As if "socialism" is a bad thing. "Socialism" is a swearword in the US and the only member of Congress who claims to be socialist is Bernie Sanders. Our Constitution begins with "...promote the general Welfare," and can easily be construed as a socialist document, to limit the powers of the wealthy and help commoners. It was an attempt to make the government a beast of burden instead of burden. Everything the GOP does puts the burden back on the people's backs.
