Good morning!

After eating the cereal recalled by Quaker Oats because of possible salmonella yesterday, I'm feel a bit nauseated this morning. I'm not certain if this is real or psychosomatic, and I suppose time will tell.

When I got salmonella poisoning 20 years ago in London, it came on bad within 8 hours, and it's been much longer now, but apparently it can take days to develop.

Now I need to find a substitute for the Quaker Oat Squares.

I'm up n out by my window for my sitting n sipping and am just waiting for the sun to rise and #joinin #today. ☕️ 🌞

I think I know where James urges to sleep have slipped off to. Though I slept pretty well all night, the urge it stay in bed and sleep through #myday is a strong force to contend with this morning. Only the promise of the sun joining me this morning by the brightening horizon encouraged me to get my butt up n outa bed. Even Heather's hollering were unaffective #today.😴

And, in the spirit of the day, I am strongly considering just popping a PHUKITAL pill and slacking off on any Honey-doins Heather hollers about today. 🥱

So I'm gonna just sit here n sip a bit and ponder the situation some more. ☕️ 🤔

For me, I'm taking the weekend off and not answering work emails.

Nothing planned currently, so hopefully it'll just be a couple of days to rest, relax, enjoy some TV shows and be lazy.

I'll be cheering for my Houston Texans as they play the Cleveland Browns in the first week of the NFL playoffs.

A heart warming story about putting Nazis on blast.

Neo-Nazi Christopher Pohlhaus bought 10.6 acres of land in rural Maine, on the low, as a Nazi training camp and community.

The SPLC got wind of it. A local journalist went and got pictures.

He ended up having to sell the land, being thrown out of his gym, among other repercussions.

There should be no safe, quiet, quarter for Nazis in this country. Shoutout to the SPLC for making this happen. #antisemitism #uspol

When someone publicly admits they were wrong about #crypto and you manage to keep yourself from replying, "Told you so."

But I did. Back when #bitcoin was first a thing I told everyone it was a grift with insoluble computational issues.

And I was FAR from the only one. There were so many of us pointing out the problems.

But we were voices crying in the wilderness. In the end crypto proved even smart people can fool themselves into believing stupid things, if there is sufficient incentive.
