Personally, I'm not completely against keeping the details of anti-spam server config secret, as long as the presence of this configuration is disclosed. Signal has always treated its own servers as untrusted anyway. But, I'm concerned that non-spam bots could get blocked. #botsrights
@Snowden
@alexandra with how some of them are documented it certainly feels like it at times
Unlike those on Halloween, the DMCA is a monster that won't be going away in the morning. That's why Defective by Design works year-round to #endDRM.

True, I just think some of the wording in the lower left could do with a little more nuance, to match the chart.
Anyway, https://www.defectivebydesign.org/guide/ebooks is a great resource from them.
@alexandra honestly scheme is a good choice though, opens you up to understanding a lot of what programming *is* through SICP, little schemer, etc
plus, then you can join the guix community :)

Adding to the other answers, if you have C# or Java experience, you could leverage your familiarity with their libraries to ease the transition to FP. For .NET, the de facto FP language is F#. For JVM, I'll suggest Clojure (a Lisp dialect) or Scala.
Speaking of Lisp dialects, Racket might be a good choice, too. It's basically a "batteries included" derivative of Scheme.

Idea: make the website search box send the query to the browser's selected/default search engine, and use the "site:" operator, which is supported by at least Google, Yahoo, Bing, Yandex, and DuckDuckGo.
dos-like is a programming library/framework, kind of like a tiny game engine, for writing games and programs with a similar feel to MS-DOS productions from the early 90s. But rather than writing code that would run on a real DOS machine, dos-like is about making programs which run on modern platforms like Windows, Mac and Linux, but which attempts to recreate the look, feel, and sound of old DOS programs.

Hate that fun size candy bar? Don't say anything bad about it until you're at least 30 feet away from a Ring camera..it can hear you! 👂🏻https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2021/oct/14/amazon-asks-ring-owners-to-respect-privacy-after-court-rules-usage-broke-law
@Moon Strange choice of theme, but I'm sure the Shark Punching Center would appreciate the publicity.
EFF is not a substitute for a company helpline. Press attention is not a substitute for an appeals process. And having policies isn’t a substitute for actually following them. https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2021/10/why-it-so-hard-figure-out-what-do-when-you-lose-your-account
Interesting post about the strange state of data authentication and encryption in Linux distros... encrypting the OS and user data with the same secret doesn't make sense in a multiuser setting. Also asking for credentials from an initrd whose authenticity is not validated is problematic.

#FedeProxy is the project that aims to bring code forges - #Gitea, #Gitlab - to the #Fediverse to unite coders, foster collaboration.
When mentioning to others often I hear the name is non-descriptive, so I thought of another one (maybe):

IMO, you'd probably have more users confused by "diagnosis" used incorrectly than users confused by "diagnoses" used correctly.
An MMO I play: Sorry, you gotta use an authenticator app to get access.
The place where I store my money: Text cool?
en: Mostly tech, but not entirely. Privacy is a human right.
ia: Principalmente technologia, ma non in toto. Privacitate es un derecto human.
