@realtimechem do we need such nationalism to support inclusiveness in chemistry science? Do these “benign” gestures of nationalism make it easier for those using nationalism for less benign reasons?

I am very aware of privilege. Just helped my mom navigate a chaotic #YYZ from bag drop to gate due to my experience flying all the time. I helped my son with Python due to my experience using it as a graduate student and postdoc. The playing field is not leveled.
