WSJ這篇WTA叫停所有在中賽事的報導，簡單用一段就把IOC裡外不是人的尷尬說明白。當然，WTA執行長的微言大義也是值得摘要引述的:
"The IOC’s role in smoothing out the Peng situation comes as China as it prepares to stage the Olympics there in February. The event has already drawn plenty of criticism for China over various issues, including the country’s treatment of ethnic minority Muslims."
“In good conscience, I don’t see how I can ask our athletes to compete there when Peng Shuai is not allowed to communicate freely and has seemingly been pressured to contradict her allegation of sexual assault,”
“Given the current state of affairs, I am also greatly concerned about the risks that all of our players and staff could face if we were to hold events in China in 2022.”

越看這則新聞越覺得怪, 有種要地方政府自己吃自己的fu, 地方債會開始爆了嗎?
"在推動共同富裕的財政管理體制方面，包括：加快推進省以下財政事權和支出責任劃分改革、探索完善省與市縣收入劃分體制、進一步完善省以下轉移支付制度、支持深化收入分配制度改革。
其中提到，鼓勵浙江省設立慈善信託，完善慈善褒獎制度，引導社會參與公益慈善事業；支持浙江省率先建立集體經營性建設用地入市增值收益分配機制。"
英國更清醒了:

"《共同社》報導，多名日本政府相關人士11月30日表示，中東海域執行情報收集任務的海上自衛隊護衛艦，計畫決定在12月結束任務，並且會再延長，此事將在12月的內閣會議上敲定。
報導提到，有鑑於中國的海洋活動，結束派遣可能讓艦艇回到日本周邊海域，增強警戒監視活動，並與重視印度太平洋地區的美軍做到快速響應。"

日本真的很擔心小學熊誤判情勢*2

P-8A再次出動的理由:
"美國海軍一架P-8A海神式海上巡邏機（AE6832）29日自南向北飛越台灣海峽，原因可能與這艘中國潛艦浮航通過台海有關。
美國海軍研究所（USNI）專欄作家、軍事專家薩頓（H I Sutton），29日晚間透過推特分享「哨兵2號」同日拍攝並回傳的衛星照片，指畫面中通過台灣海峽的疑似為中國09IV型核潛艦（Jin-class submarine，北約代號「晉」級），從海南島亞龍灣潛艦基地出發向北航行，並有另外一艘水面艦護航。薩頓認為，這艘中國核潛艦可能是要返回渤海造船廠維修。"
NHK新聞頁今天居然放了兩則台灣新聞, 懷疑頁面主編昨晚半夜是吃西瓜了嗎...
"這是台灣國防部首次確認到運油-20空中加油機進入台灣防空識別區。
台灣國防部智庫研究員歐錫富於今年4月發表的分析中表示，和中國大陸先前的主力空中加油機相比，運油-20的空中加油能力增加至3倍。中國大陸軍機的作戰半徑未來將顯著擴大。"
美澳聯手強化西太平洋防衛的大方向原則不變:
"The infrastructure improvements to airfields touted in the review’s unclassified summary will begin next year in Guam, which hosts a large naval and Air Force contingent and thousands of American forces, and in Australia, where Marines deploy on a rotational basis. Both are key in Washington’s strategy to counter China, officials said. The Pentagon will also send more ground and logistics forces to Australia and make a range of infrastructure improvements in Guam, including more fuel and ammunition storage and other projects, said Ms. Karlin.
Improvements to airfields in Guam and Australia will expand the ability of the U.S. to ferry troops in and out of the area for deployments or in the event of a conflict, they said."
有趣的是這份報導所引用的報告是來自華盛頓特區, 而目前尚未見到特區政壇對此報告的反應, 莫非繼金融時報後, 又一英媒被當成放話管道了嗎?

衛報這篇明確將維吾爾議題矛頭指向政策提出者的維尼與政策執行者的兵團, 有別於之前的含糊其辭或避重就輕的報導方向:
[ In one of Xi’s speeches, he argues that “population proportion and population security are important foundations for long-term peace and stability”. This statement was later quoted verbatim by a senior Xinjiang official in July 2020, who then argued that southern Xinjiang’s Han population share was “too low”. ]
[ Other classified documents lament “severe imbalances in the distribution of the ethnic population” and a “severely mono-ethnic” population structure (an over-concentration of Uyghurs) in southern Xinjiang. 衛報的這則跟進讓我覺得有種贖罪券的風向球感:
"《衛報》報導，共產主義受難者紀念基金會的德國社會人類學專家曾茲（Adrian Zenz）掌握到一份中共官方的新疆會議記錄，內容包括習近平在2014年4月的三場演說，議題涵蓋安全、人口控制及懲罰維吾爾族等，部分內容被當局列為最高機密。
文件顯示，中共要求對維吾爾族實施再教育、重新安置以修正維族和漢人人口不平衡的現象。曾茲表示，這份檔案的重要性在於，可看出中共領導層在2014年提出的政策方向後，隨之而來的再教育營大規模拘禁、強迫勞動及控制族群人口等行徑，顯示出中國政府高層「犯下文化滅絕的長期意圖」。"
