" Brandeis大法官在1927年於Whitney v. California案的協同意見，對美國憲法為什麼要保障言論自由、言論自由有什麼價值與功能，提出了相當精闢的論述，也對要如何保障言論自由，提出了「更多言論」(more speech)的理論，對「明顯而立即危險」判準有更進一步的闡明：「如果在言論發表後，實際弊害發生前，仍有時間可以用討論的方式來區辨是非，或以教育的方法來避免弊害的發生，那麼我們應該用『更多的言論』來治療言論可能帶來的弊害，而非強迫沉默。」"
「了解社會脈絡，就是要能了解社會現象，掌握現實。此不獨大法官釋憲時有此需要，一般法院的法官，在審理案件解釋適用法律時也有此需要。為政者與一般大眾行事判斷時，也有此需要。誠如Brandeis大法官所言：”Knowledge is essential to understanding and understanding should precede judging.”，他的意思就是：為了作出好的判斷，必須要先能對事物有一定的了解；而要對事物有一定的了解，則必須要有一定的知識。而活潑自由開放的言論，正是豐富知識內涵，增長知識的不二法門。」
「一個社會愈成熟，就愈能以冷靜理性的方式去處理事情。對於一個危害是否急迫、其嚴重程度如何，也會有比較適切的判斷。一個相對成熟的社會，在遭遇危難衝擊的情形，會比較容易回穩。民眾會從過去的經驗，吸取教訓。會知道如何改進，採取較好的因應方式。在探討危害的急迫性與嚴重性的關係時，不能只專注於政府採取了什麼措施，其實市民社會的成熟理性也是很重要的。」

中國A股半導體業有一成沒政府補貼就要虧損了:
"報導指出，A股120家半導體企業中，除了四圖維新外，其餘119家去年獲得中國政府149.11億元補貼，平均每家公司獲得1.24億元補貼；去年上述120家半導體企業合計淨利達570億元，政府補貼佔合計淨利的26.1%。"
"報導說，有16家A股半導體企業若無中國政府補貼則會出現虧損。"

"中國全國人大之前審議批准的一項決議訂定，債務率不超過100%為地方政府債務的整體風險警戒線，即地方債務餘額最高不得超過地方綜合財力水準。

國家資本的補貼始終是美國歐盟對中國不照規矩玩貿易公平競爭的最大詬病:
