I feel strange to write this but there is a nuanced take on the #SVB bank collapse that is not popular anywhere. What is happening is what is supposed to happen and uninvolved taxpayers are not paying for it. FDIC has taken over the bank and will sell its assets. Whatever it gets for those assets will be paid back to depositors. Despite VC financial illiteracy there is no bailout nor a need for one.
The two things that need more scrutiny are Thiel's involvement and the loosened regulations.

**Balloon Warfare** Ukraine has balloon tanks to waste Russian missiles. China sent a 10 buck balloon to cost the US a million bucks. At any moment, China could send over a thousand balloons, claiming they are delivering fidget spinners. We need balloons to defend ourselves.
The defence balloons (db) would have tiny Chinese lasers aimed by AI. They would all have PGP, like freemo, to confirm identity. When required, they would pop the enemy balloons. What could go wrong? ...
