r/linux really is a shithole. Someone announces a new release of a prominent open source application (Blender) and the only thing the peanut gallery can argue about is which packaging system was FIRST!!!111one..
It's no wonder eyes roll when people talk about a Linux "community" https://old.reddit.com/r/linux/comments/f4ae6e/blender_282_released_blenderorg/
@g I'll have to do more analysis to be sure, but yes I think #OpenStreetMap has much more data in Germany than in almost any other country. This means a higher percentage of things that exist are mapped, and that a higher percentage of things that are mapped have the cuisine data entered (as a tag). @PunaisetPimpulat Fedora has a bit more steeper learning curve than Linux Mint because it doesn't include patented and closed source stuff, but once you learn to deal with it, it's a really solid distro and I've been installing it on computers of average users with very positive experience.
I’m interested in science and technology. Free and open source software are important to me.
