On Thursday, I testified at the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board about the upcoming reauthorization debate over Section 702 of FISA. I had researched and testified about it during the last reauthorization round in 2017, but paid less attention over the last five years thanks to the Section 230 chaos. To prepare for PCLOB, I spent much of the past two weeks reviewing the FISC opinions and other declassified documents since 2017. And I did not like what I saw, particularly re: FBI.

Civil rights activist Bayard Rustin was known for organizing protest marches, particularly the Aug.1963 March on Washington.

An advisor to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Rustin was considered by some as controversial due to his past membership with Communist Party & the fact the PA native was gay.

King insisted Rustin’s background & expertise were invaluable, yet Rustin was resigned to working behind the scenes because of his sexual orientation.

They said my joke was not related to a neighborhood subject. I asked why the Lead’s post about Musk was allowed and my joke wasn’t. They banned my account.
