Germany shut down nuclear plants, which required them to rely more on fossil fuels.

Whatever problems nuclear power has, it is better for humans and the environment than fossil fuels by a very wide margin.

I'm really hoping that Jeffries starts to bring a little 'kick ass' to the party, now that he's got the leader role. I've had countless talks with @stopgopfox about how the Dems really, really need to start playing 'ugly' if we're ever going to get out in front of the Reps BS and smear campaigns. The Dems need to start 'taking some joy' in trashing on the Reps, just like they do to us. I think it would open some eyes....and maybe ....minds!
