"Why do you defend Palestinians when they would hate you?"

I think Palestinians have better things to do than bother me because I'm queer.

I suspect the more immediate response would be, "Hey, look at that white American woman, what the hell is she doing here?"

Besides which, plenty of "good" Christians in my own country want to exterminate me and say so every day of the week.

And I don't support murdering kids and innocent civilians regardless of culture.

Need to point this out.

As a murderer stabbed a Muslim woman named Dr. Talat Khan to death, witnesses report that 17 Texans pulled out their firearms and WATCHED. 17! The murderer stabbed her, stopped to check her pulse, confirmed she was alive, & went back to stabbing her to death.

And 17 "good guys with guns" did nothing but WATCH.

A reminder that the "good guy with a gun" myth is a propaganda point to sell more guns. It does nothing beyond an anecdote to save lives.

During BLM protests, the major news networks kept framing upcoming BLM protests as dangerous for white people. "The Black people are coming to your town!" even though many of (most of!) the BLM marchers were white?🤔

Now I'm seeing a similar dynamic with Gaza ceasefire protest coverage. But it's getting harder to ignore the fact that many (admittedly not most) of the folks asking for human rights to be respected, are Jewish and/or Israeli. ♥️👍🏿
