Why is Earth getting warmer?

The release of greenhouse gases, like carbon dioxide, from human activities is responsible for the majority of climate change. In our atmosphere, these greenhouse gases trap heat in the atmosphere, raising Earth’s temperature.

That was fast. Merrick can move when he wants to. Wish we had a U.S. Attorney General less concerned with appearing politically motivated & more concerned with bringing actual justice to the man behind the Jan. 6 insurrection that almost toppled our democracy 🙄 #JusticeMatters

It's always interesting how veering from by-the-book DOJ policy for political reasons is a completely one-way ratchet that only ever works to put extra scrutiny on Dems or exonerate Republicans, never the other way around.

I suspect a huge subplot here is that the FBI is still a very Trumpy organization (and still run by Trump appointee Chris Wray) and Garland can't stop them from aggressively going after Biden even if the law says it's absurd.

@CalBear96 @QasimRashid From this article, a Dem legislator made a great point, "The caucus that lost their minds over the suggestion that they should wear masks during a pandemic to respect the safety of others is now spending its time focusing on the fine details of what women have to wear (and specifically how many layers must cover their arms) to show respect in this chamber."

#physics ##weather **Calicanes fill the whole Pacific** In our last episode, we were left wondering if new 'things' that cannot be named, were still being produced at the chocolate (storm) factory. It's nuanced. Looks like a new baby could form if only the big sisters got out of the way, and visited Ellen.

#physics #weather **Calicanes now beyond Cat 4 hurricanes** Probably Cat 7. Take these hurricanes and throw them off the coast of Florida. What do you see? No hurricane planes available, they can't be given a 'Magnitude'. **They don't exist,** according to the dogma. They are just 'lazy rivers'. **La La.** And endless more are going to be formed. This is the 'ice cycle' coming to bite you. :)

@SETIEric Neat, I am now adding that hashtag to my post. With all this rain, a new hashtag will be #soggyearthquakes :)

Our ancestors never imagined having this many tabs open at once.

This week "Some More News" was about twitter. Let's ask him to have an account over here :)

Don't leave me hanging fellow, versies.

(do you think calling people here 'versies' will catch on? I don't)

It’s no secret why the GOP is gutting the Office of Congressional Ethics. This is just the start of what will be an unashamedly pro-corruption, anti-democracy House majority.
