@gratefuldread

Hershey knows that even right wing fucks find chocolate irresistible.

@VPS_Reports

Excellent. If I recall, isn’t Simi Valley home of the Ronald Reagan presidential library? Ventura County is pretty right wing isn’t in? It needs to be put in their face. Please report on the outcome.

@jtlg

I think you’re giving the tech heads too much credit. I think the reality is that bitcoin attracts the gullible, and the gullible attract grifters. NFTs are a transparent hoodwink.

I would love to see a mass of dildo parades converging on the capitals of the fascist drag queen haters. It could be good fun.

@StillIRise1963

Agreed! It’s like they pretend they don’t understand so that they can seem clever and/or elevated above the fray and capable of seeing “both sides”. It’s infuriating.

@sunderlassie @jswatz

When I was in middle school in the 70s, I had an elective class called “Buyer Beware”. We spent an entire semester talking about the ways companies market to us and they techniques they use to trick us into buying all the crap we don’t need. Of all the classes I had a middle school this was probably the most memorable and useful. I’m pretty sure nothing like that is taught today but I may be wrong.

@amaditalks

I completely agree with your sentiment.

However, I think it’s important to prefix the term “white people” with qualifiers like “some”, “many”, or “a lot”. Otherwise “many” white people will, unfortunately, immediately dismiss you as a racist and ignore your truth out of hand. Just sayin’.

@pivoinebleue@mstdn.social

California has been in a drought since anyone started to think about it.

Look everyone! Squirrel!

Well, always the optimist, I guess a good outcome of global warming is Florida mostly being underwater in 50 years.

@petergleick

I’m going to be blogging about all of the things “people are saying” about him. I’ve heard he likes to press wild flowers.

@DamienMarieAtHope @kinsey

I think it probably came from inquisitive monkeys, looking at the sky and noticing patterns. The cultivation of crops required the ability to notice the patterns of the stars and when we’re the opportune times to plant. They probably found it incredibly magical that the stars could predict the outcome of their crops. Miraculous! From there, I suspect they started to draw faulty conclusions from their basically scientific observations. It’s amazing how much astronomy ancients were aware of. That’s my two cents.

@npr

Seriously? I need an “expert” to weigh in on this? Jesus, I don’t need an expert to tell me how to tie my shoes. But thanks for giving us “both sides” NPR.

@gdyson

I’m more worried about the fascist little pricks trying to fuck up our democracy.

How many drag queens have let loose a bloodbath in an elementary school?

John Stewart, nails it.
