@georgetakei I saw him in Chiba ten years ago and he certainly was. And he had a bright red Nissan Skyline too. It certainly flew, but not off the ground.

I’m so confused. Santa has always been Asian. I met him in the internment camps, and he was definitely Japanese.
@sciencebase Yes, and Jazz Duck.

One in 23 people will require humanitarian relief in 2023, UN warns
A global relief fund of a record $51.5bn will be needed to assist 339 million people suffering because of 2022’s ‘extreme events’ (Guardian)
PS. Imagine the situation when we add a '0' to the end of that figure: approximately 3.5 billion* people will likely be displaced and forced to migrate due to #ClimateChange impacts by the 2070s. #climate #security #migration https://www.theguardian.com/global-development/2022/dec/01/one-in-23-people-will-require-humanitarian-relief-in-2023-un-warns

London is a singular city of surprises and new discoveries, even for a grizzled veteran London visitor. This the Battersea Power Station, which has undergone an incredible renovation.
I hope to see many of you when I make my London debut this January in Allegiance!

@Frances_Coppola Pyewacket didn't have kittens, she was snipped early on, along with her sis, Pumplekin. Both were terrors.
@Frances_Coppola Looks like my ginger one after she 'helped' under the car with an oil change.

In 1952 Rosalind Franklin & Raymond Gosling collected their famous diffraction pattern of #DNA, photo 51.
But did you know that Elwyn Beighton, in #Leeds produced a strikingly similar image the year before? For some reason his boss, Bill Astbury wasn't interested & so they never published the work.

@sciencebase I can't decide whether the studio or live version is best. It doesn't really matter though.

Elon Musk plans to reinstate nearly ALL previously banned Twitter accounts — to the alarm of activists and online trust and safety experts. The decision will have dangerous consequences, particularly for vulnerable communities. https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2022/11/24/twitter-musk-reverses-suspensions/ #twitter #twittermigration #tech #technology #elon #TwitterMigrate
