Hey there fine people of #QOTO and #Mastodon! Another gorgeous day here in Tel Aviv. They really only get nicer now that the worst of the heat of summer is gone.
Honestly, I can't say enough how much I love the weather in Tel Aviv. Apart from two to three months of heat, the rest of the year is super nice. Even then, the heat isn't terrible due to so many places that have great A/C.
If you're on the East Coast of the US, near NC or SC, please be careful. Hurricanes aren't a joke! Best of luck!

I did a little prototyping on a new layout for my game's character info. Not nearly complete (doesnt show most of the stats yet) but thought I'd share anyway. It at least gives an idea as to the direction im heading in on visualizing some of this stuff with just ASCII.
Some general info:
The game is called AetherMud and it is open-source

If I've got a focusrite XLR/USB interface, what's the cheapest way to record bass without disturbing neighbours? Ideally something compact because I don't have any space for anything anymore.
I own a guitar amp with direct USB output, but it can't output anything without also blasting the sound through the box, plus honestly it kinda sounds like ass 😦

@skulljudenfreund Yeah, they're real quick to have illegal settlements started by Jews to be torn down (And this does happen. As it turns out illegal settlements, regardless of who built them, get the same treatment.) but the minute it's an arab town they're decrying human rights issues.

@Surasanji The netherlands mostly has bike lanes completely seperate from roads. Where that is not the case the roads usually have very little traffic.
