@limits2growth I don't know. I feel like a permanent presence on the moon would lead to huge advances in recycling, air cleaning, carbon fixing, and sustainable living technology. I'm not sure if that mission is that kind of long term test, but there we are.
@Gargron That seems like a questionable, but certainly understandable decision.
Good morning there, #QOTO , and Good Day to #Mastodon as a whole!
It's been a minute since I did a #ShareTheMusic , I think that should change.
A band I've been listening to a lot recently is IRONTOM. They got this crunchy rock vibe that really works for me.
Here are a few songs:
ENJOY! :D
@fribbledom I really should be focusing on work right now, but that gets a boost.
@TheGnuMaster Welcome to #QOTO !
@sara Well, now we need a t-shirt that we will never explain to people who aren't in on the joke.
@sara That's just Hank, the mouth from beyond time and space. We think he's in constant existential pain.. Or he just likes screaming.
@lynnesbian Wouldn't it be worse to expect the error and never have it occur?
@spirit What, like infants? I think at that age the best thing you can do is be gentle and loving. They don't really have any super-high brain functions.
@Surasanji i will contribute! this could be a great thing to kickstart a revolutionary collaboration! :)
So, we have a lot of very smart, educated people here at #QOTO . I was wondering if any of you would be willing to do something like an AMA/Essay about what you do, or at least an interesting something you're working on? Taking questions after you talk about your field? I know I'd really like to read something like that.

just wanting to let either @freemo or @hashtaggrammar know, the PeerTube instance has an expired cert if you guys didn't already. Sorry if this is old news to you. I'm trying to expand a profile up there, and I can't with Firefox screaming at me that the cert is expired, and it's not letting me add an exception for some reason.
"The absence of limitations is the enemy of art." That's how I justify refurbishing my little netbook running Xubuntu when I have at least three other faster systems with more resources.
Replaced the HDD with SSD. Upgraded from 1 GB to the maximum 2 GB RAM. (Woohoo!) New battery on the way.
I should be so much more creative now. Who needs a Core i7 and NVIDIA graphics when you've got a screaming Atom processor from 5 years ago?
Account has been Depreciated. Thanks for all the fun, QOTO!
