@MOTT Several billion years ago, a star died. When that star went nova it scattered previously created and created elements that make up the building-blocks of nearly every-single thing that exists on this planet. Who knows how many other stars did the very same.

If the parts that make up me were made by a star, am I not also made by a star? Certainly not directly- I'm not arguing that. Directly, I am a creature of biology as we understand it- but also am I a creature of star stuff and scattered heavens.

The history of that star is in me, though. I am a part of the Universe and the same elements that compose my form also exist in the stars.

I'm pretty well convinced Bibi did something super shady and needs to go. Hopefully, the attorney general will agree.

The really sad thing is I really used to think that Bibi was an honest dude, who maybe made some mistakes. Now, I'm pretty well convinced he's a crook and abused his position as a public servant for personal gain.

I walked once the streets of my home. My bare feet in communion with the pavement and stones. I wandered this night, cold and rainy, wet from head to toe.

Thunder rolls through the alleys and streets, a crash to follow a flash of light that comes from nowhere and everywhere. A front-loaded rumbling that starts hard and softens after moments. The purr of the sky.

I find the beach, and stare out on tumultuous waters. White-caps and chaos as waves go in every direction, jostling water and forms made fuzzy by the spit-slap of heavy rains.

Another moment of painful brightness.

A cloak of rain, bare feet in the sand.

Storm, please dissolve me.

I think sometimes on the idea of being made from star stuff.

That every atom of my being was, once, made in a stellar forge. Built up from Hydrogen into Helium and built up again and again until the multitudinous atoms that make me up were shot out into space on the death of that same star.

I am a stellar explosion. I am energy turned to matter.

My brain is a thunder-storm.

@SquidPresident@cryptids.online You know, it's funny, because I was looking at places I used to live in Florida yesterday. Places I grew up. Spying on them with Google Maps.

The tree in front of my childhood home is gone. The Gardenia bushes on the side of the house have been removed. It's been painted.

Might as well have been a different house, a shadow of my memories- that's what I saw through google's street view.
