@ridley you are sweeter than any pollen or flower
you make me want to turn you into honey, unblinking, and eternal
@Ophillous let's open a farmers market together selling products made from honey and vitreous humor as an expression of our faustian flirtation 👁️ 🍯
@ridley when you look at me, my heart skips a beat (which is always, oh god, please help, this is such pain but such ecstasy, I need thousands of small bee-sized doctors with bee-sized defibrillators)
when I look at you, I see an ocean of jellyfish but the jellyfish are occuli
@Ophillous you make my eyes roll back into my everything
you all are a sight for sore eyes, and More eyes
@Ophillous I give you butterfly kisses with innumerable eyelashes
you give me bee kisses with all your bee fur
@ridley as sweet as honey, and as terrifying as bees
your many eyes fear, amaze, and bees
while a rose may have thorn, they also have bees
and although I use them to see, my eyes belong to bees
when I am alone, you help me feel bees
ashes to ashes, dust to bees
@Ophillous @ridley Are.. Are you guys going to make out?
... Can I watch?
spice question?
@root Personally, I love spicy food. So much.

US politics, sex work
@zenolalia Tumblr, Facebook, Twitter, Et al are under no requirement to support anything. There is no freedom of speech on these platforms and no protection for artists of any kind.
Although they are certainly online cultural hubs, they are companies that provide a service (Typically for free to you and I) and have the right to decide what is and isn't on their platforms.
That is why things like Mastodon are very important- in a federated network there is no one who's in control and actual speech and cultural exchange can occur without a single entity deciding if they do or don't want a particular subject matter on their platform.
I do not believe the change in TOS on places like Tumblr is about repressing or oppressing people. I think it's about money.
@kjr I can understand the older woman in her 80s getting and dying from measles. I don't know her full medical history. She might have had a bad immune system for one reason or another.
But that 18 month old baby? Shouldn't have happened. We have a fantastic health care system here. There is literally NO REASON why people should be dying from measles in our country. Zero.
Anti-vaxxers fill me with a great deal of anger.
