@archangelic@cybre.space I don't know anything personally about the Portland police. I do know that telling random people who's numbers you got on the internet about missing persons is generally a bad idea and frowned upon.
I'm looking out for the safety of someone who may be injured, missing, or worse. That's all I'm trying to do here. Take it however you want.
@archangelic@cybre.space IF you see a missing person, please make sure to call the local police and not a random number on the internet. Abusers may be using 'Missing Persons' reports to keep tabs on their victims.
Spread this far and wide, but make sure to call the Portland PD @: 503-823-3333 (Got the number from their website: https://www.portlandoregon.gov/police/ )
Someone on Twitter mentioned that in some regions of Germany, a common idiom for whenever there's mist in the forest is "The foxes are making coffee", and thought the image was evocative enough for an illustration.
Well, I took the bait! 🦊☕
@Are0h Mm. All that talk about being up for discussions. Fuck, even supporting you in your discourse. I point something out and now I'm racist.
Good on you, Ro. You do you, man.
@robotcarsley @reptilian_intern@cryptids.online I need to watch more of that show. I saw the first episode and it was just fantastic.
re: Ro vs Ilhan Omar
@Are0h There is nothing Subjective about 'It's all about the Benjamins Baby' and AIPAC!
But, there you have it.
Ro vs Ilhan Omar
@Are0h I know you don't give a shit, but suggesting that Jewish People are in control of the government because of 'Jew Money' is racist. It's among the oldest antisemitic tropes there is.
It's no more appropriate for her to say that than it is for Trump to say 'good people on both sides'.
@reptilian_intern@cryptids.online I watch sovereign citizen videos with the same awe and horror that I watch car wrecks. They're just amazing.
Leonard French on youtube has a series on a particular sovereign citizen who is super sue happy and uses lawsuits to 'practice his litigation skills'. It's fantastic.
@bryceyoungquist @soft Ne'er was there a story of more woe than of Youngquist and his Softio.
@realmattseymour @SecondJon @Dan_Ramos one of the best decisions I ever made was moving out of the US. It makes me sad to say, because I love the concept and ideal of the US.
I just didn't see it happening. I saw far more people taking advantage of their fellow citizens and I decided to leave. I'm happier and healthier where I've ended up, not that there is any less political nonsense here. AT least it's one I've chosen and not been born into.
@root yeah, but you have to come to Tel Aviv to get them.
I was thinking about paradoxes and time travel.
Like, what if you went back in time and gave someone, like Albert Einstein, their most famous work.
You just hand the dude everything about relativity he supposedly created before he's created it.
Does that mean General Relativity willed itself into being? Or that the universe gave us that information? Where did it come from in that sort of time travel situation?
