Finally home from work. Weekeeeennnd~

@alex what if I'm forced back in time and they question my honor? Surely I must challenge them to a duel.

Time to find some music for #ShareTheMusic, I think to myself.

But what sort of theme will we follow today....

I got it- Singer/Songwriters who trend towards dark, creepy, or 'horror-folk' music. Some of these have undoubtedly come up before, I apologize for any doubling of AMAZING MUSIC. (Sorry not sorry?)

Let's get started:

The World Ender, by Lord Huron- a rock-folk song about a revenant coming back to life and murdering the people who killed his family (And also him.)

https://open.spotify.com/track/4v2Bs11kMVN7O6jDJvfPTa

I Love You Like An Alcoholic by The Taxpayers - Not all love is healthy, is it?

https://open.spotify.com/track/7u63zva845rv8tRFi9FG8a

Hell and You by Amigo the Devil - Longing for the unhealthy.

https://open.spotify.com/track/1zXLf1IpcdaewGMBx3WOJl

Vampire's Night Out by Harley Poe - Vampire goes out for an enjoyable evening.

https://open.spotify.com/track/7jN7uoP2ov1VVo9XguFEio

Bad Bad Things by AJJ - This band is interesting. Trying to peel back the veneer of civility that exists in the world. This one, though, is about a murderer! Fun!

https://open.spotify.com/track/4s5DywrMqIlGxvKi4WrHwH

Oh Darlin' What Have I Done? by The White Buffalo - What do you have left after you've killed everything inside you?

https://open.spotify.com/track/18lZDzgg3HetL1FmmcED1j

Solomon Grundy by Chuxx Morris - This is a nursery rhyme. The one DC Villain Solomon Grundy is based on. Rock it!

https://open.spotify.com/track/4r0Un07j9xJrTsMiEjanZS

Bottom of The Lake by The Builders and The Butchers - A song about a guy who's murdered by mob violence! Pay your debts to the mob.

https://open.spotify.com/track/3cBsyfmZurJKjwVKHQZwv3

Low Tide by O'Death - Apparently a song about drowning someone and throwing their body into the ocean at low tide. I think.

https://open.spotify.com/track/1HrzbWdxVqTUhwkxD4HP8e

SO!. That's what I got for you today, enjoy it and remember to #ShareTheMusic! :D

@israuor Looks about right.

@israuor Shabbat Shalom and B'tay ah'vown!

@ansuz@radical.town Doin' the work. You're looking good, though, hope you have a beautiful day! :)

So, my coworker just set off the fire alarms. GOOD MORNING.

@mk @Absinthe Yeah, you're going to have a tough time having actual biological sex/gender metrics in the fediverse.

@realcaseyrollins @MOTT runs a Christian instance, if I recall correctly.

@mngrif Well, look who's got his fancy pants on.

@jacethechicken It's clovering time.

@alex @mk @realcaseyrollins (( In other words, I am not equipped to decide who or what a man or woman is. ))

@alex @mk @realcaseyrollins When I say 'Gender dysphoria' I mean whichever body dysphoria is the one that makes a person of one biological sex want to be a different biological sex.

As for what is a woman?

There is only one true and honest answer: Chaka Khan
