I call Tel Aviv a 7-second city. Every Seven Seconds you see an absolutely GORGEOUS woman.

In your case, you should look for ladies who cover their hair (like a religious woman), but are more obviously not religious through other signs- behavior and clothing. That's how the Lesbians signal each other here, and keep the creepy men away.

I know this because there was this cute butchy lesbian olah hadasha who needed to be rescued from a bad situation with some gay jewish dudes in Lod. We were coworkers and she called me- so she slept on my and my roomie's couch for a week. I learned a lot about Israeli lesbians- she was really quite outspoken about it.
