@Demo318 Well, that article is over a year old. I wonder how much the platform has changed in that time.
@Ahriman Welcome! :)

Have a friend whose a civil engineer for a large metro traffic department say last week:
"nothing makes me smile like when someone complains about forty single occupant cars having to wait for a two hundred occupant light-rail to pass and I get to smugly reply, 'workin as intended'. "

Hello qoto!
I'm very keen to try out the LaTeX support. So here goes:
\[\Phi = -\mu_\text{e} + e\chi = -(\mu_\text{e} - e\chi)\]
(That's the work function, or the mininum work required to extract an electron from within the sample to a position just outside it).
@solarchemist It rhymes with goto, so yeah. koto. And it stands for Question Others Teach Others. :)

@Surasanji
You're welcome. Thats exactly what I'm trying to build here. Decent people who legitimately care about all their fellow humans.
@freemo @wilw @absolutus @HN Thanks, Man! I always appreciate a supportive community.
@Demo318 I can certainly understand that sentiment. I grew up with antisemitism. It's a problem in the US, just like it is elsewhere. I always felt like I was 'White' when it was convenient, and Jewish the rest of the time.
@freemo @wilw @absolutus @HN Yeah, dude. Bipolar disorder here, this stuff is rough. I'm no more ashamed that I'm bipolar than I would be if I had Lupus. I was born this way. My brain-meat just doesn't spit out the chemicals it's supposed to. Always around to talk if you need some random ear on the internet.
@freemo Mazel Tov. Use it in good health, my friend! :D
@Demo318 Hey bud!

Heya im tsunachi, im a 20 year old in-the-works mechanical engineer.
Pretty much im just your average internet guy with a few extras, i like games, anime, and anything with a motor that can go fast, art, and books.
STEM wise despite me being pretty average in my interests im a huge nerd and love science, especially when it pertains to space. thats not to say i dont like the others of course thats just what ive always had a passion for.
I like talking to people with differing opinions in politics/morals/ideology/ethics etc. ( as long as its meaningful, isnt a shouting match, or is objectively wrong in the base statement i.e most of twitter checkmarks)
Politically wise im a classical liberal (bottom-left) but im also pretty centrist if that helps.

@freemo @pkok @commandelicious @spinflip @arteteco @absolutus @Demo318 Sea Lions are among the most emotionally aware of marine mammals. Second only to the Manatee. #MadeUpFacts
@freemo @commandelicious I'd certainly be cool with an auto CW or popup or something when I get long winded. You guys already know I like to do that. :3
Long Thing about Fridays.
@cm Yeah. Traffic here is a nightmare- I'm so happy not to drive. I do love Tel Aviv, though... I just live in the area close to the Old Bus Station. They're working on cleaning up the area, but it's slow going..
Over all Tel Aviv is beautiful.
Now, Vienna- that is a world class city I'd love to explore. So much history! I've also heard that there is amazing coffee houses.
